New Tender for B/. 315 Million for Solid Waste Management

The Municipality of San Miguelito calls for bids for B/. 315.2 million for the collection and management of solid waste over the next 20 years.

The bidding terms provide for:

• Full coverage from the first year, with automatic penalties for failures.

• Trucks equipped with sensors and routes differentiated by zone.

• Community transfer stations replacing former dumpsites.

• Independent audits and online traceability for users.

Proposals will be received until September 15, and contract signing is scheduled for mid-November.
